Leadership is about standing to your words, making a statement which holds that the leader has his value on which he wants to stand and make the people on his surroundings change. But when that leader does not make a sufficient amount of work into put and the people don’t see the leader stand for them then they account in for a change leadership. Change leadership means changing the system, making the next leader values up to trust and trusting the leader change will bring the profit according to the people interest. Change leadership means is that to influence people through other people vision and have a system that has a platform to change and accept the change. Change leadership we can say has a model and the model define that why a change leadership is needed and if that change leader comes then how the system make it possible. In my research there are three models that tells about the change leadership and that are the method of Kotter, approach of ADKAR and Bacharach approach. These models our methods are the examples of that change leadership has happened before and the hurdles and the positivity are there in each approach. Today I will discuss the model which approaches a unique style called Kotter Model.
Kotter approach or method is John Kotter’s model which believed that they are maintained by going through a model of eight steps.
Complacency is one of the steps which determine that the change of leadership is on the way. Complacency is a feeling of not satisfied with the work on one individual or its achievement. Too much complacency means that people are not allowing the work of one not satisfying the people who chose him to be the leader of the organization or the company.
LEADERSHIP TEAM NOT SATISFACTORY
Another change leadership component and important component is the team of leader is not up to the quality which a leader vision should be. For example: in today’s date Imran khan vision is a powerful vision but the team which he has chosen to complete the vision is corrupt they are in government to make money and steel money but not to make the vision which people thought will make the difference in the development of Pakistan. Another example is that one’s a house map is designed then the work depends on the labor, the vision (map) I made the labor leader is the one to chose its team and make the vision perfect so the person whose house they are making would be happy and from this statement they would recommend other people also and for the next time they will chose them again.
POWER OF VISION
Now the power which is chosen to be the change leader has to estimate the power of itself because if you have the power in this world then you can do anything, but there are many kinds of power and when you have the power in your hand you have to see what kind of things you can do with it because power does not mean you can control everything. So, underestimating the power you control cannot control everything, like people vision about your team and you and if you think you can change with your power then it can create problem in the leadership and it can change leadership.
Communicating about the vision you have is the best way of delivering the change you want in the system. Every leader brings the change in the system, may that effect or not. Communicating with your team, communicating with people to understand their problem and try to solve them, communicating with people to stand with them and convey their demand to the government and telling around the world that the things changed in the system and they are powerful enough to make change visible. Communication for a leader is the main thing in leadership, if the leader does not communicate with people and his team then the system will not run and they won’t run a good system.
OBSTACLES IN CHANGES
Some changes from leader are obstacles because of problems and some problems are created from political point of view. Greed is very common in changing leadership, when the leader is not going according to the establishment then they first creates problem and hurdle to stop the leader and its team and create some sort of propaganda to create a bad image in front of people and let things go in their way. Obstacles are good and bad because sometime they create problems and sometimes the leader idea is problem and wrong for the establishment and development of things.
SUCCESSES FAILS TO CREATE THINGS
There is both short-term and long-term success and when there is change leader the first thing is looking for is short-term success because the short-term success tells people that the leader is up to the standard and is looking for long-term success in retaining the leader of the people and people begin to trust him more. If there is no short-term success it means that the leader must change because is not living up to the expectation of the people and not full filling the promises of the people and that’s why the leader should always make those promises that he can full fill from his retaining power. For example: Imran khan is elected as the people choice leader of Pakistan, at first when could not full fill the promises because he was straight looking at the long-term plan and that’s why he neglected the short-term plan at first, but when noticed what mistake he is doing then he straight forward started completing the short-term plans and also started long-term plan because people will see short-term plans first and when they want the long-term also then the PM can show that they are already working on them and they will also be completed
COMPARING YOUR VICTORY TO PREVIOUS LEADER
When a leader, that hasn’t completed the promises which he made and started comparing the victories with other then it means he is not here for a change, he is here for his on benefits like fame, money etc. This calls for a change leader because a leader who does not work for others and look for his own benefits then he is not a leader hence there is a wakeup call for people to change leader and select a one leader who is willing to sacrifice his belongings and loved things to support his people and live a simple and not a greedy life. People today think is that a leader is the one who has money and has power but on the other hand a leader is the humble person who does not show case his victory rather he tells people it is a start of a good innings and hope it can go long in the benefit of the country and its people not of its own benefits.
Things change, people change, season change and leader also change but the change in culture effects all the community, society, tradition, people overall all the country because a culture is what holds all the people in a state and country together. When a leader forgets its roots and its culture then the people also change the trend but a true leader always change its self for the people to stay them together and strong. A change leader always learn all the culture and participate with them due to this people trust and trust all the culture when they see the leader of them taking part in the culture and getting old culture back then they see it as a trend and play them in other society also.
Change leadership always comes in when previous or the ongoing leader is forgetting that why was he chosen and why he is a leader. A leader is the one who stood for his value and his stamen, he is the one to feel people’s emotions and talk with them and work in people interest and stand with people to talk through their problems. Change leadership is needed when people think they are not rightly served and the demands are not full filled. Leader is a servant of people he is put there to represent the country and its people not there to represent his interest, he is always there to support the people and stand at his decision and tell the country that he is doing business to help the country to grow and get the system running. Change leader is always an option to scare the leader in charge.
